CBRE Meeting Room of the Year 2016 Knows Its Finalists
CBRE, the world leader in the commercial real estate services sector, has arranged the third year of the prestigious CBRE Meeting Room of the Year competition, which judges the best office in the Czech Republic. The professional jury consisting of Eva Jiřičná, Biljana Weber, Marie Passburg, Richard Curran, Tomáš Jindříšek, Pavel Maurer and Josef Němec have selected the finalists who are competing for victory in three different categories, which include Meeting Room of the Year, The Office as the DNA of the Company and The Most Attractive Working Environment, while the winner in the Healthy Office category is decided by a professional jury from the Czech Green Building Council. The Future-proof and Innovative Offices category is chosen by a jury from Skanska and the Smart Office category is picked by a jury Microsoft. Once again this year the wider public can vote in the Public Prize at hlasovaniverejnosti.kancelarsnu.cz until 31 January 2017.
The expert jury decided on the basis of evaluating the criteria in terms of design, originality, innovation, practicality and attractive working environment for employees, personally visiting several companies in order to decide on the final winners.

Although the number of participants registered is the same when compared to other years, the number of quality office designs predominate compared to previous years and we have noted the trend of increasing standards of Czech offices. That’s why the jury selected a record number of companies for the final round - 37.

There is a clear trend among most businesses where they increasingly focus on their employees when outfitting offices. The comfort of the people themselves is a priority for them, so they can work best and feel good at work. This is the most valuable bonus for the companies themselves, though they must sometimes make concessions on the question of office design.
